Chad K. Kahunahana
Chad is the practical visionary behind Universal Hemp Supply Company where he manages National Sales and Business Development. Chad brings an extensive background in corporate finance and private equity investments having begun his career in investment banking at JPMorgan and Horsley Bridge Partners. He is an active member of the startup community as a mentor, board member, seed investor, and has consulted with companies such as PAX, the world’s leading cannabis vape technology company, Even, which is changing personal finance for thousands of Americans, and Saha Labs a transformational talent acquisiton company to Silicon Valley technology companies. He is also a minority owner and strategic advisor to the BoxJelly, Hawaii’s first and largest co-working space.
In an earlier life, Chad was the Co-Founder and Product Marketing Lead for Akamai Activates, a curated ecommerce marketplace for unique travel experiences. Chad is a graduate of the Business Honors Program at the University of Texas at Austin, McCombs School of Business. He resides in Brooklyn, NY, and Honolulu, Hawaii.

Zev comes from over 35 years as a sustainability consultant and has been a national hemp educator since 2012. He created and was the founding Executive Director of the National Hemp Association, which he ran from 2013 to 2016 and laid the ground work for the passage of the 2018 Farm Bill. As a result of his work with farmers, manufacturers of extraction equipment, lab owners, entrepreneurs, and buyers of hemp products, he has developed long-standing relationships with the major hemp players in the U.S. Zev serves as a consultant to existing and start up businesses entering the hemp industry, family farming groups, and organizations in the crop insurance, finance and banking industries.
Since 2017, he co-created and runs the Hemp Marketplace the largest online hemp marketplace for raw, processed and packaged hemp products and services in the world. Zev also founded Herb-a-lites a wholesale and retail outlet for raw hemp products such as flower, pre-rolls, hemp tea and seasonings. Zev is a graduate of University of Santa Cruz where he majored in biology and environmental planning. He loves to cook and writes utopian mystery/romance novels.
Vice President of Business Development, Colorado Office
Neshama brings seven years of experience in the hemp industry, including four years as the National Media Contact for the National Hemp Association. Her expertise includes writing, editing, special event production, project management, public speaking, and media relations. She helped produce “Hemp For Vets” featuring a Washington, D.C. press conference where an American flag made of hemp farmed by U.S. Veterans flew over the American capital. This footage was key to a documentary filmed by Patagonia telling the story of industrial hemp making a comeback in the U.S.
Neshama co-founded Abraham Paiss & Associates, Inc., a national public relations and strategic marketing communications firm based in Boulder, CO supporting sustainable solutions. She served as the Communications and Community Campaigns Manager for Eco-Cycle, Inc., a pioneering non-profit organization that helps communities move toward Zero Waste, and was the Director of Marketing and Communications for the American Solar Energy Society. Neshama earned a B.A. Degree in Philosophy and English from Rice University, where she was awarded Rice’s first women’s tennis scholarship. She regularly does yoga and loves being in nature, especially hiking along Colorado mountain trails.

Scott W. Farley has more than 31 years of leadership experience branding,building and running nationally recognized mortgage banking branches. An accomplished corporate strategist and marketer, his vision and expertise inbusiness performance have driven notable enterprise growth in the retail,wholesale, builder and direct to the consumer sectors. Offering a rare blend of creative and operational strengths, Scott has achieved notable company and branch turnarounds and is recognized for his success in growing sales and profits.
His exceptional track record of business improvement is based on his philosophy of total enterprise engagement in change. He is known for his ability to quickly identify and diagnose sales and growth impediments thatgo far beyond marketing; working with companies to refine their organizational structure, product lines, sourcing, sales channels, market position, as well as advertising.
